I'm very limited on equipment doing the workouts in the apartment. I need to purchase heavier DB and KB's. Used 8# DB and only have the door pull up bar that I can't kip on so used chair for assistance. 13+3

MIA

Ok, so I am going to try to get back in the habit of blogging my workouts again.

Pilates Reformer Workout

I've finally been getting back into CF after a long hiatus. I'm going to try to balance CF and Pilates. My current plan is 3 days Pilates, 3 CF and one day off. I'm ridiculously weak so I probably won't be posting my weights out of embarrassment. I also don't have access to a lot of weight so I won't be able to heavy DL or BS.

I'm such a slacker on this blog. I just have so much going on it's hard to keep up with everything. I finally broke down and got a treadmill. It's just so hot here there is no way I can do the long runs outside, and it's to hard to get away to go down to the gym with Warrick. So when he naps I'll be doing my running which makes it a little easier. I wish I could say I have been doing more, but I've really just been running. I know this will sound lame but, I have a piliates reformer on the way from the states. I wish we could make a CF set up here, but it just won't happen in the apartment. I've got my KB and DB's so that will have to do for now. I miss lifting heavy. I can't even imagine how weak I've gotten.

Still training for the 1/2 marathon. I'm going to start following a light strength cycle. I say light because there is not very much weight in the gym. I'm so weak and need to regain some strength. I also started the 100 Burpree Challenge I'm on day 4. We got bikes to start going on rides which is a fun way to burn extra calories. Last night we went on a 6 mile ride. *I need to buy bike padded shorts. Walking at least 20 minutes after every meal. That really helps me to be able to eat and not have my pants get tight :) Going to look into purchasing a treadmill. It's hard for me to always get down to the gym when it's not busy. If we get a treadmill I can run or even walk on incline while Warrick naps. Miss all my CF friends.

I'm such a slacker on this blog. I've still been doing the 1/2 training I guess it's going OK. I'm starting to get use to using the treadmill. It's just too hot here to run outside which is a shame with the amazing marina few. I've increased my walking again. I've gone back to walk at least 20 minutes after every meal since I can't seem to cut back on the carbs here. I wish they would open an american butcher shop. I also got a KB the other day so I've been using that making up random workouts. I miss my gym...

Sorry, I have been MIA on my blogging. I'm still keeping up with the half marathon training. I really dislike running on a treadmill. Last night I ran/jogged 3 miles. It wasn't pretty.

I've been doing radom KB stuff and that is about it unless I play around with the lame equipment in the lame gym here. I've been walking less because of the heat. Which means I need to start doing something else to make up for that. We have been going swimming more often which is good. I'm about as good of a swimmer as I am a runner. My cardio just sucks. I miss having big weight to throw around to make me feel better when I sucked at the cardio.

So pretty much I'm weak and It will be a slow process to get back to anywhere close to where I use to be. Not to mention the fact that they only have fixed weights that go up to 105# Ugh...
I seriously miss having my own gym :( Following the half marathon training, and will be getting more swimming in soon. I'm suppose to do a CFFB workout tonight so we'll see how that goes. I'm not back in the groove of things just yet. The heat here is exhausting.

I did my first CFFB workout two days ago and I'm still sore. That's what I get for being such a slacker. I even scaled it down. Oh well, it will come back eventually. I've been keeping up with the half marathon training as well.

Just finished a run which made me think of what a slacker I am with this blog. I will try to be better. I just feel like I'm so boring lately. Runnng/walking some db work and occasional bodyweight. I know I am lame. The gym here sucks, and I just haven't felt the itch to jump back into heavy lifting. I'm sure as it's getting hotter in Dubai and I want to walk/run less in the heat I will go back to throwing around steel :)

I am still here and still doing about the same as far as workout goes. Joggine 3xs a week moved up to 21 mins haha. Ill add a min a week until I reach 30 mins and then I will add some crossfit endurance. I have been walking a lot, just not keeping up with the numbers mainly cause Warrick always takes off the pedometer and I don't realize it till it's too late. I have been slacking on my KBS so I will start that up again today. I'll try to get back into the habit of blogging.

I haven't stopped with the steps, but my battery died so need to find out where to get a new one. I really need to start running again I have no excuse other than lazy. I feel better the weather is perfect... I think I need to start going in the morning with the stroller. I haven't been feeling like working out at night which I know is odd for me. And Gavin has been going to the gym with Rick in the evening and it's so cute I'd rather they do that together. I went ahead and did the 75 KBS today with 13# since we are going to be traveling all day tomorrow.

I finally found a pedometer here it was a search to say the least. They have GPS watches all over the place, but not a simple cheap pedometer. Seeing as I already have a nice watch I just wanted to check the average amount of steps I take daily here with all the extra walking. The experts claim to loose weight you should take an average of 10k steps a day which is aprox 5 miles. So if nothing else I will post the steps at the end of the night. I have been doing body weight things throughout the day, but not following any plan. I did finally break 140 and now at 139.2 so still 7 lbs of pre-baby weight.

I've obviously like everyone else slacked on the blogging. As most know I've moved to Dubai so Crossfit is not going to be as easy here without our own equipment. We were spoiled having our own gym. I did the row challenge for the holiday and now I'm really just walking A LOT. Also doing some light weight and bodyweight things now and again. I really haven't gotten into a good gym schedule yet since the move. I am such a picky eater and I'm having a hard time adjusting to the food here especially the meat so carbs have become the bulk of my meals. I have been drinking some protein shakes. My diet pretty much sucks. I go for at least a 20 min walk after every meal just trying to take away some of the impact of the carbs. Also usually a longer walk sometime during the day.
